Pengaruh: kegiatan-kegiatan atau keteladanan yang baik secara langsung atau tidak langsung mengakibatkan suatu perubahan perilaku dan sikap orang lain atau kelompok.

Kekuasaan: Kemampuan untuk memiliki pengaruh. Mempunyai kekuasaan berarti mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengubah perilaku atau sikap individu2 lainnya.

Metode Mempengaruhi
1. Sarana Fisik: bentuk pengaruh yang paling kasar, melibatkan ancaman
2. Sanksi2 positif dan negatif: sarana-sarana untuk menghargai atau menghukum
3. Pengetahuan: keahlian relevan atau ilmu pengetahuan khusus

A TASK- ORIENTED MANAGER: Menekankan pada teknologi, metode, perencanaan, program, deadline
- Pendekatan berorientasi tugas bekerja baik pada kondisi krisis dan jadwal waktu yang ketat.

A PEOPLE CENTERED MANAGER: Menekankan pada kebutuhan employee

The process of influencing individual and groups to set and achieve goals.
Leadership involves three variables: The leader, those being led, and the circumstances in which leadership is exercised.


What qualities must leader have?

- winners- people who are extremely flexible, bright, tactical and strategic
- who can handle a lot of information, make decisions quickly
- motivate others
